To use PC Restore: Turn on the computer and during the boot process a www.dell.com blue bar will appear at the top of the screen. Immediately press Ctrl+F11. Allow the computer to restart if you miss it, then restart the computer. If you don't want to continue with the restore, click reboot at the next prompt. On the next screen that appears either click Restore or Reboot. On the following screen, click Confirm. The restore process requires about 8 minutes to complete. At the prompt, click Finish to reboot the computer. DO NOT MANUALLY SHUT DOWN THE COMPUTER! When prompted click Yes. When the computer restarts, it is restored to its original operating condition. The screens that appear are the same as those that first appeared when the computer was turned on. Click Next. The System Restore screen appears and the computer restarts. Now your computer should be restored to its original configuration. N.B. This procedure will not work if the restore partitions on the hard drive have been altered or deleted. Or if the master boot record has been altered. Most modern Dells have this System Restore feature.
