<_< I reformatted my hard drive and reloaded Win98Se. I thought I had backed up all the personal files I needed, forgot a couple. Is there anyway to recover after formatting?

Sorry to be the one to have to tell you but once you format a harddrive all data on that drive is lost and there is no way to recover data after you have formatted a drive
