I'm having issues on my computer and tried to switch to safe mode. The screen comes up with "Safe Mode" in all four corners of a black screen with nothing else. I can't do anything unless I ctrl, alt del and restart to normal mode. Any help would be appreciated.

Do CTRL+ALT+DEL.

Then in the Task Manager, go to the File Menu -> New Task (Run) and type "explorer" into the box and click OK.

That should ask you now if you want to work in Safe Mode or run System Restore. Click Yes to stay in Safe Mode and you should now be able to see your taskbar and icons.

What issues are you having with your computer apart from the fact it doesn't work in Safe Mode?

I've been having the same problems as alot of people. I seem to have the Trojan.Vundo virus. A norton Scan says it's on my vtstt.dll file. I posted a hijack this log on another forum. Still awaiting some help.
