invalid administrator password

i tried to follow the
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=307545

since my hp xp home computer has the "lsass.exe when update password return value not correct" issue.
I boot to recovery console and choose Repair. I just press ENTER for the administrator password, but i prompt that it's invalid.

Is there a way to change the password?

open the comand console

type in "net use administrator password"

the admin account password is "password"

if u need any more help jst ask

Where do i open command console? I can't boot to windows.
