Hi Everybody- I have been bombarded with these constant pop ups. They are always the same ones, firstadsolution, passion, adultfriendfinder, etc. My computer is running at almost a turtles pace. I have tried CleanUp, Adaware, Ewido, Trojan Hunter, etc. Everything it says to do at the begining. Help! And Thank you in advance!

Please Download NoLop to your desktop from one of the links below...

First close any other programs you have running as this will require a reboot
Double click NoLop.exe to run it
- Carefully type or copy and paste this series of characters into the lower text area labelled Insert CLSID Here. Include the {}:
  
  {047DA51E-0F8B-1BA0-34B9-C9498FCA8619}
Now click the button labelled "Search and Destroy"
<<your computer will now be scanned for infected files>>
When scanning is finished you will be prompted to reboot only if infected, Click OK
Now click the "REBOOT" Button.
A Message should popup from NoLop. If not, double click the program again and it will finish Please Post the contents of C:\NoLop.log along with a fresh HijackThis log

--If you receive an error, "mscomctl.ocx or one of its dependencies are not correctly registered," please download mscomctl.ocx to your system32 folder then rerun the program. --

Please reboot your computer and then you should find the log located here - C:\NoLop.log

Please post a new hijackthis log.

I also need to see a different type of log from Hijackthis

Run Hijackthis.
Click on "Open the Misc Tools section".
Next click on "Open uninstall manager".
Press the button 'save list'. It will open a Notepad file.
Place the content of that file here in your in your next reply.

First let's close a security hole by updating Java.

Updating Java and Clearing Cache

Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on the Java Icon (coffee cup) in the Control Panel.
It will say "Java Plug-in" under the icon.
Please find the update button or tab in the Java Control Panel. Update your Java then reboot.
If you are unable to update you can manually update by going here:
- http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
After the reboot, go back into the Control Panel and double-click the Java Icon.
Under Temporary Internet Files, click the Delete Files button.
There are three options in the window to clear the cache - Leave ALL 3 CheckedDownloaded Applets
Downloaded Applications
Other Files
Click OK on Delete Temporary Files Window
Note: This deletes ALL the Downloaded Applications and Applets from the CACHE.
Click OK to leave the Java Control Panel.
