I am trying to remove the look-today toolbars. There is one toolbar at the top of the screen and a larger on on the bottom of the screen. I have run adware, spybot, and cwshredder all in safe mode and the toolbars are still there. I saw another post with this same problem but the things that were listed as fixes were not found on my hijackthis logfile. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Below is my hijackthis logfile:

chrisrb,

Hello! and welcome to G2G forums. You may want to print out these instructions. During this fix you may not find certain files due to a part of the fix removing them.

===============

Download Spybot from
http://www.safer-net...p?page=download

after installing......hit.."Search for Updates".....get them all.......(Download Updates)........then "Check for Problems".......after the scan is complete..allow Spybot to remove everything listed in RED...reboot your computer.

NOTE: Spybot will flag 5 DSO Exploit's...this is a bug in the program and will be fixed in the next version, you can ignore these.

===============

Then Download Ad-aware SE from: http://www.majorgeek...ownload506.html

Install the program and launch it.

First, in the main window, look in the bottom right corner and click on Check for updates now and download the latest reference files.

Next, we need to configure Ad-aware for a full scan.
  • Reconfigure Ad-Aware for Full Scan as per the following instructions:
    • Launch the program, and click on the Gear at the top of the start screen.
    • Under General Settings the following boxes should all be checked off: (Checked will be indicated by a green circle with a check mark in it, Un-Checked is a red circle with an X in it. If it is greyed out, those features are only available in the retail version.)
      • "Automatically save logfile"
      • Automatically quarantine objects prior to removal"
      • Safe Mode (always request confirmation)
      • Prompt to update outdated confirmation) - Change to 7 days.
    • Click the "Scanning" button (On the left side).
    • Under Drives & Folders, select "Scan within Archives"
    • Click "Click here to select Drives + folders" and select your installed hard drives.
    • Under Memory & Registry, select all options.
    • Click the "Advanced" button (On the left hand side).
    • Under "Shell Integration", select "Move deleted files to Recycle Bin".
    • Under "Log-file detail", select all options.
    • Click on the "Defaults" button on the left.
    • Type in the full url of what you want as your default homepage and searchpage e.g. http://www.google.com.
    • Click the "Tweak" button (Again, on the left hand side).
    • Expand "Scanning Engine" by clicking on the "+" (Plus) symbol) and select the following:
      • "Unload recognized processes during scanning."
      • "Obtain command line of scanned processes"
      • "Scan registry for all users instead of current user only"
    • Under "Cleaning Engine", select the following:
      • "Automatically try to unregister objects prior to deletion."
      • "During removal, unload explorer and IE if necessary"
      • "Let Windows remove files in use at next reboot."
      • "Delete quarrantined objects after restoring"
    • Click on "Safety Settings" and select "Write-protect system files after repair (Hosts file, etc)"
    • Click on "Proceed" to save these Preferences.
    • Click on the "Scan Now" button on the left.
    • Under "Select Scan Mode, be sure to select "Use Custom Scanning Options".
  • Close all programs except ad-aware.
  • Click on "Next" in the bottom right corner to start the scan.
  • Run the Ad-Aware scan and allow it to remove everything it finds and then REBOOT - Even if not prompted to.
  • After you log back in, Ad-Aware may run to finalize the scan and remove any locked files that it may of found. Allow it to finish.
===============

Download, and unzip to your desktop HSFix, then:

1) Reboot your computer into "Safe Mode"
2) Locate the HSFix folder on your desktop, run it, and double-click "hsfix.bat"

(When it's completed, a log will be produced which you'll need to post back here.)

3) Reboot your system normally.
4) Post back the contents of the HSFix.txt log(when you've completed the steps below) and continue on with the solution steps in this post.

===============

Go to www.trendmicro.com, and then:

1. Click "Free Online Scan".
2. Click "Scan now, it's free".

It'll take a few minutes to download (especially with a dialup connection), so be patient. When it's done:

1. Select all available drives.
2. Check(tick) "Auto Clean".
3. Click "Scan".

When it completes, post back the full filename of any files that cannot be cleaned or deleted.

===============

Download, unzip to your desktop CWShredder and run it, then:

1. Click "Check For Update"

(If an update isn't available, skip to step #4.)

2. Click "Click here to Download the update".
3. When the new version has been downloaded, click "Save".
4. Click "Fix ->"

===============

Let's look for, and delete, any program segments(prefetches) that might be present, and are associated with the 'problems' we're trying to remove from this system. To do this, let's:

1) Click "Start | Search", then search for each of these program's base name(s), in all files and folders:

packager.exe*

2) Then if any are found in the 'prefetch' folder, delete them.

Look closely, since the 'base' name will have a bunch of random numbers and letters attached to it.

===============

Go to Add/Remove programs and remove(uninstall) the following, if present:

EBates MoeMoney
AWS

===============

Run HiJackThis then:

1. Click "Config..."
2. Click "Misc Tools"
3. Click "Open Process manager"

-

Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following:

C:\windows\system32\tpjhcc.exe
C:\windows\system32\packager.exe
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\arbu.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\?hkdsk.exe
C:\Program Files\AWS\WeatherBug\Weather.exe

Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain.

===============

Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present:
