My new notebook seems to be getting slower

ok igot a new notebook a week ago tongue.gif its fast it has a nice processor 2 gigs of ram well it seems to have gotten slower i am an exprienced user i do have limeiwre and i know what to and not to doownload so that can be can anyone recommend a av and spyware scanner that i can use to see if my pc has malware the last thing i want to happen is for my notebook to get slower. laughing.gif
