Hi I am looking for a good parental control program. I don't mind paying for one if it is really good.
I want to be able to watch what my kids are doing or what they have done and also to block from adult sites. Any suggestions? Thanks Heidi |

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navc...ol+for+internet just did a quick google search for "free parental control for internet".....i've got experience with content filtering etc... however the tools i use/have used would be overkill (and no offense...overcomplicated) for home use
This one out of that list caught my eye though it seems to be a pretty sollid package....and it's got a dynamically updated filter list.. |

I used the parental controls in Vista on my wifes laptop.
That did not go over so well, I had to take them off. |

Thanks columbo with biggles glasses!
Soz, very apt picture for title though.. I'm glad to have an expert opinion. Kids on the Internet today is such a risky business, they seem to think freedom of expression is going to be emotionally/security free! I will look into K9 (I think I have heard of this before.. many years ago, prob on it's first years-ish). Anyhows I will download and let you know what happens. Thanks again Hidyjane |
