I know it only says Windows 2000 and XP, but does the OS really make a difference? Also, the 54mbps only applies to wireless connections so if I have my other computers connected with ethernet cables I should get the same speed with them as if I were using my current non-wireless one, right? It doesn't have the info on the site, but there's actually four ethernet ports in back.

Thank you

A Router is a router, it does not know what type of OS the computer is running. Now maybe the CD that you have to use setup the router might be OS based, but the router will also have a webpage interface to setup your network.

with all that rambling you will be fine

The operating system requirements are for the software CD.
Anybody who knows what they're doing doesn't use these CDs anyway, they log into the router directly and use the CDs as drinks coasters.
