If u see from my previouspost, the word HJT is clickable. Download HJT from there.
Refer this link for instructions on HJT (Link).
(Start from Step Five on that page).
Now post a HJT log, when the error pops up.

Right-Click on ur Start Button. In the newly opened context menu, click on Open All Users.
In the newly opened explorer window, Program->Startup.

Delete Compaq Connections.exe.
Reboot ur PC to see if the error persists.

Under start up...I have compac connections. It doesn't have the exe beside it. When I try to open it I get the same error message. Under start up I have an
hpoddto1,exe. Could this be the one I need to delete or is it safe to delete the comac connections if it doesn't have the exe. after it?

Instead to deleting it. Lets try something else.
Right-click on Compaq Connections in startup, click Properties.
Note down the value in the target field, this will tells us where Compaq Connections is located.
Open Windows Explorer, go to the folder where Compaq Connections is located. Rename Compaq Connections to Compaq_Connections.
(Note the '_' in between the two words)
