stop error i read others but i still need help blue screen comes after, bluescreen stop error i read the others but i got nowhere plz assist

I read the other problems with the restarting an blue screens but none really could help me.
I didnt want to try aything at the risk of me messing things up further.
I have windows xp
the drive is partioned(that may b tha prob dont know)
but i jus got it (the computer i bought from a guy in the paper)80 gig harddrive im barely using any of it)
i jus put on a wireless pci card which i took off an put back on an its still gettin the same error
its for my music studio so i really need help asap
im losing money everyday cuz im scared to start on anyones project
can someone take me step by step through the process of getting to the bottom of the problem
and getting it fixed

i copied that
the actual blue screen
said
a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer

etc

then said
stop:0x0000007f(0x000000f,0x00000000,0x000000000,0x00000000)
beginning dump of physical memeory
physical memory dumo complete
contact system admin or tech support for further assistance

i dont kno if that helps
but i hope it does
