Every now and then at startup my computer would show an error saying:
svchost.exe - Application Error The instruction at "0x7c918fea" referenced memory at "0x00000010". The memory could not be "written". Click OK to terminate the program Click CANCEL to debug the program I thought there might be malware and posted in the malware section, but it seems like it isn't. http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/index.php?s...opic=67564&st=0 Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks a lot. |

NeX,
By any chance are you running McAfee software? If so, this has come up a few times. If you need, I'll try to find the fix. Be (McAfee) Safe Da Animal |

could be one of the service installed on your computer causing this problem.
disable or uninstall those services from the list of services. try start->run-> type services.msc hit enter. right click and uninstall any suspicious service. Also clear all the unnecessary items from the startup. Hope this will resolve your issue. |
