I was just wondering why there are so many different manufacturers of each GeForce graphics card.

Also, I was wondering, out of all the different manufacturers, which makes the best card?

Hi there, apologies for the delay in replying to your question.

GeForce is just a video chipset family, in the same way that the Intel ICH chipset family is for motherboards. Many manufacturers make video cards but they don't all develop their own chipsets so they use existing chipsets instead. This is exactly the same as Intel making their own motherboards as well as their own chipsets, but their chipsets will also be used by many other motherboard manufacturers, such as MSI, Asus etc.

As for your second question, are you asking who makes the best cards or the best chipsets?
