Hello, I have exhausted every help option, and I hope someone can help me here.

I am trying to, because I need to, re-install my Internet Explorer 5.5 app, and everytime I try, I get an error message which tells me it can't find the 'InternetGetConnectedState' in the WinInet.DLL, and I can't find another source for the IE 5.5 install disks.

Can anyone help me? :tazz:

Thank you. RJ

Doesn't Internet Explorer 6 work on Windows NT 4?

Ah yes, it does:
http://www.microsoft...&displaylang=en

Would be far easier than playing around with 5.5 me thinks, plus it'll update that file.

Hi, I do apprciate your help. I have used IE 6, still have it, but I prefer the IE 5.5 features, interface, etc., better. The problem is, somehow my IE 5.5 install disks will not find my InternetGetConnectedState in my Wininet.dll file.

Richard.
