I tried to do the recovery, but I need the password, and don't have it.. I've tried nothing, I've tried admin, administrator, password, all the possible passwords my boyfriend would have.. and can't find anything...:tazz:

Here's a clue.. I ran the windows setup CD again, and I had to let it do it's thing while i worked.. now the screen says

the file hpn.sys is corrupted press any key to continue

Did we find our problem?
