I have an old PC, Pentium III, 32MB, 20GB HDD. I am experiencing slow shutdown after exiting Internet Explorer (6.x). The IE application takes about 8 minutes to fully close. After allowing the IE application to close the system shuts down normally. I do not have this problem when using other browser packages like Netscape or Firefox. Appreciate any help and thanks in advance. :tazz:

Problem existed with previous version of IE. I upgraded to the latest version to see if problem would go away. It did not. I suspect that the problem to be related to some IE setting.
