Hi, can anyone help me out. Is there a forum here, that may handle digital camera problems, when hooked up to a computer?

Problem is, my pics when downloaded are like a cartoon, faded grey or close to what safe mode looks like.

Hi johngod...I'm no expert...but I think it might help a great deal if you mentioned just what kinda Digi you are using...the way it downloads into your computer..is it just a plug or is there a docking system, type of memory card it uses, etc. and definitely what your computer is and what o/s you are running. Is this a new problem or has it just started, etc. etc. etc.

Its a Kodak, no docking station.Running Windows 98se, Dell Demension 700xps.,Pentium 3. Never had this problem till now. Use to download pics good.

Does your camera have a mode switch or button for special effects or resolution adjustments that may have been changed accidently?

Sorry but no button like that. I tried another camera and I got the same picture efect. Both cameras get a cartoon like or safe mode like picture efect. Pictures are there, but distorded faded grey and green.
