Hey, I'm upgrading my computer, and I want to get another gig of ram... I already have 2 Crucial brand 512's in there, but I only have 3 slots... what do I do? Buy 2 one gig RAM sticks and sell the 512's... or buy one 1 gig ram stick?

I ran EVEREST Home Edition, and this is what it says...

If you want to run the memory in dual channel mode you must run them in matched pairs. You will have to buy 2 1gig sticks to keep the dual channels.

Connect3D is a licenced ATI video card builder. It has nothing to do with any graphics enhansement.

So what would be the difference of getting 3 sticks w/ no dual channel as apposed to 2 sticks w/ dual channel

Not much yould be better with more non dual channel, are you aware that memory sticks come in 1Gb single sticks.

Yea, I just ordered the video card above ^^ and I ordered the same exact RAM I have in here now, but only in a gig, thanks for the help guys
