Something has changed my display properties, and when I try to change it I get a blue screen. Also, if I try to make any changes to windows, it shuts down over and over again. I could be crazy, but it's like it knows what I'm doing, and when I try to fix it, it stops me. It doesn't mind if I surf the web, but it certainly doesn't want me to run an antivirus or go to Windows.

I ran sysclean and other antivirus software, and deleted some issues, but it just keeps getting worse. According to sysclean I had 27 viruses.

Another symptom is it gives me a symantec warning that it can't send my message. The more I try to close out the message, the more messages I get. The only way to stop it is through task manager.

I don't want to format my hard drive, and I'm not even sure if I can.

Please help

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
