depends if it jus t ran the recovery over everything, or if it swipped it and started over.
there are some programs you can run or buy, but the more you use that HD, the less the data becomes recoverable.

i havent touched it at all. i just realize that it was reformat so i havent touched it
is there a program you recommend or that you know works wonders or what not? Please help. i have about 30 papers that i need to get back.

i use the program that comes with tuneup utilites, but you need ot be running the drive, your best bet, (some one else will chime in) is to find a dos recovery disk that you could use.

can Disksavers help? What about those other programs out there? Can anyone help. thanx, this is really a emergency.
