Trouble With Kazaa Lite / Bitorrent (P2P Programs)

I just installed a new wireless network, to which the computer that is having trouble is connected. It's protected and everything seems to work fine, but I cannot get a connection through programs such as bitorrent and kazaa. I even moved to another network (local, unprotected) and it didn't work. The computer that is hooked up to the router with a wire is able to run these programs, however. Any advice? From the FAQs I've read, it seems I might need to forward a port or something, but it seems really complicated and I'm not sure it would fix the problem. Thanks!
