If you're on dial-up, disconnect and reconnect.

If you're on broadband, disconnect for a few hours/days (ISP pending) and reconnect.

by the way ive been reading about ip addresses and i found some info stating that if u have a router and a firewall when u go to a website that tracks ur ip address it could be getting the ip address of your router or firewall if this is true how can u find your real ip address?

Your real IP address can be found by going to:
http://www.ipchicken.com/ or http://www.whatismyip.com/
That is your WAN IP Address (Wide Area Network)

All the IP address will do is trace you back to a certain country and sometimes which part of that country (such as which US State for example) but it will never trace you down to a certain street.

It will find your real IP address - the same one that the router is using to give your computer(s) internet access.
