Everytime I am on microsoft word on xp and I type in the wronbg word I highlight it to change the word, but it doesn't change it, it just types in the new word next to it. :s Does anyone know how this can be rectified?

This solves the problem in Word 2000 with Windows XP ...

Tools >> Options >> select the Edit tab >> tick in "Typing replaces selection"
