There was some bother in the US about either a copyright or a privacy law but i think they got over it didnt affect global customers but they are still very popular.

as far as i know that case is still going on. It was over copy right violations, aperently the one selling it now stole the software from another company. However it's only going to affect and not the globe however if you in the US the case i think is almost over and looking good for the black berry company. Not in the media anymore since no one seems to care any more but as far as i know the trial is going pretty well for the black berry company and all should be fine. Can't wait for the new one coming out this month

Actually the case has been settled for a very large sum of money. Blackberries will continue to run.
