keep getting motive chorus client has encountered fatal error when booting up, why is it doing this and how can i get rid of it.

What type of Internet connection do you have then? Cable, ADSL or dial up?

Install it & run it. When it opens, in the left pane, go to the Software->Autorun branch. A list of files etc will appear in the right pane. Select every entry in the list, then copy & paste all of them into your next post.

I'm going to check through that list of stuff & get back to you in a little while but in the meantime can you quickly tell me this please...
At first glance I noticed several references to BT Yahoo in that list (which is where the Motive chorus client comes from). Is BT Yahoo one you used to use before Wanadoo? Do you still use Yahoo Messenger?

tried bt broadband, unable to use so i uninstalled it, having a look i seen some references to it on my computer so i have now removed them

It sounds like thats the reason for the problem - the BT Broadband installation has obviously left some components behind which are loading at start up but because you don't actually have BT broadband, it's resulting in that error message.

If you haven't already done so, can you go to control panel->add/remove programs & search for any BT related stuff & uninstall it.

If you still get the error message appearing after doing this, let me know & I'll tell you how to remove it manually.
