Hi tiffin...

Before we run these commands, let's verify the version IE you have. Open Internet Explorer, click on "Help" in the toolbar, and then on "About Internet Explorer". What version is displayed in the resulting window?

thats whats weird when i do that there is no version its blank

Did you install the IE6 you downloaded?

We'll try the IE6 commands asn see what happens.

Click Start, and then click Run.
Copy / Paste the following command in the Open box, and then click "OK":

rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Setup\SETUP.EXE" /g "C:\WINDOWS\IE Uninstall Log.Txt
