Cd Burner wont write at max speed

I hae my external Cd burner connected to a port that says USB 2.0 right next to it.......and i always get a message that says please connect to USB port 2.0 for max speed

ANy reason why? any help appreciated...thanx

You guys already helped me a ton with my virus probs! im completely fixed now! thanxs so much!!

Maybe you don't have USB 2.0 ports. If you have older PC you have only USB 1.1 ports. If you have new PC then try getting the newest motherboard drivers.
