emailing folders

i am trying to email a folder from my c drive but for some reason it will only let me maill the individual files taht folder contains can anyone advise my on if this can be done and how it can be done prettey please it's giving me a headache and the account is on my back!

Right click the folder, click send to, send to compressed folder, attach this to an e-mail
