Hi Guys,

Hope you can advise me about a problem with disc cleanup. I'm running windows xp,
and clean up regularaly also defrag as needed. My computer seemed a little slow,
so I ran disc cleanup, but it still showed files left? Ran it again and it showed no files
but when I clicked on temporary internet files it came up with 13 folders.
Is this normal? It seems to be acting erratically, showing 0 files then files, 0 files, etc!!
The folders are random no's OXQJ4XEJ AKMP7DG4 2DNK5CVI etc.
When I open the folders there are mainly jpeg pictures with various dates 2004, 2005
etc. What's going on?? Hope this isn't a stupid question.

Thanks for your help,

Paige

it is normal

Those are temporary internet file caches and are not included in diskcleanup

Those files are there so that IE can built webpages faster by using locally stored files rather than redownloading them all the time.
