:tazz: What is a dataport? Does the phone company have to install it inside or can it be installed on the outside of a building for T1 service?

given your two most recent questions it may be best for you talk to your service provider about that...they will be able to explain that in great detail...honestly a data port could be anything...but it sounds like a connection jack to me....what you would plug your modem or router into on the inside end of the t1...probably would be on the DSU
