computer reboots continueously

I recently installed SP2 with XP Home and after that the computer just reboots then I get the windows XP screen then it starts the booting process again and again. please help!!! The computer is a dell dimension 4400.

I'm getting the same problem. once it gets to the welcome screen it reboots automatically. i dont know what my bro did. he installed some programs and then it happened. continuosly rebooting. and safe mode doesnt work either.

Same here. Safe mode does not work, I tried to repair it with the XP disk as well and nothing is working.

No. There is a blue screen of death that comes up but I can not stop to read what is typed in there some type of error but I cannot read it fast enough to catch I will try.
