Opening software

I can't open certain software installed on my computer. When I try to open Cain & Able, a password detector on my network it gives a message (unable to open winpcap driver, system can't find the device specified.). The program and the driver are installed in accessories.
Any advice?

Surely sounds to me like winpcap driver is not installed right, or you lack permission to install a system level driver like this.

I should note very clearly here that using such tools on a network when you are not supposed to will get you canned quicker than a handful of sardines
