hi,
i have two hard drives each are partitioned i am running

disk #1
C:windows operating system
K: applications

disk #2
D:documents
L: BACKUP

what i am trying to do is create an image of windows and the documents drive
so far i have a copy of powerquest drive image 2002 and i have tried using that but each time i ask to perform the backup the system restarts and displays that
drive manager was found but isnt running and i cant get it to work.

i am trying to create an image and save it to the L: drive wich is designated for back up purpose's but it also displays that the target drive is smaller than the drive to be copied does the drive have to be larger or can it be compressed?

does anybody no of a free program that will work for me :tazz:

or is there a way to manually start disc manager and make this program work?

thanks for your help

http://www.runtime.org/dixml.htm try that...it works pretty well and does a bit by bit image of the full drive...you can also make a "hot image" while the system is running..
