I really hope that someone can me this time around...

I just started up my computer this morning, and here are the two errors that I am receiving...

hpfs
Cannot find the file 'hpfs' (or one of its components) make sure the path and the file name are correct and that all required libraries are available.

desktop
Could not load or run 'hpfs' specified in the WIN.INI file. Make sure that tifle exists on your computer or remove the reference to it is the WIN.INI file.

All I did yesterday was clean my puter through the puter programs, "scan disk, disk clean up" and did Ad-aware and nothing in there, and ran my Panda Anti Virus and it found a virus called EICAR-AV-TEST-FILE

And it states that it fixed the problem...
I don't know what these files are, or how to find them...

Hi Staci,

These file are both related to the installation of an HP printer. Do you have an HP printer connected to your system? If so, do you still have the installation CD? I'd recommend you reinstall the printer drivers and software from the CD, or download it from HP.com

yeah, I have the cd... I will reinstall it and see how that does...
