i just put that dvd burner in my comp but my comp doesn't detect it so if anyone knows how to fix this problem please :tazz:

how did you put it in and what do you mean by doenn't detected?
Windows not seeing it or bios not seeing it.? did you remember to set all jumpers, plug in all the cable and turn on the bios for that port?

Try reinstalling the drive, make sure that the jumper is set to either master if its your only drive or slave if its not, and make sure its not share an IDE channel with hard drived optical drives and hard drives dont work well usually on the same cable.

Check in bios to see if its neing detected there, if it isnt there its not connected properly or its faulty.
