I have a dell optiplex GX260 1.8 GHZ, 20 gig HD, 256 RAM, It came with no OS. I installed windows 2000 everything was fine until i tried to change the colors on the monitor. It will only let me view 16 colors at 800 x 600 pixles. Do i need a new video card??? I would love an easy fix but i know thats not likely. THANK YOU

Download and install Everest Home Edition

Run the programme, click + next to computer then summary

Look on right for display / video adapter

Look at the manufacturer’s site for the suitable drivers for your Operating System

If you are unable to find them, please post the make and model here before you download anything

Please set a system restore point before you install anything

If you connect to net via your laptop, then let window search a driver for it.
