Hi all, hope you can help . I have created a disk with data on it, and a button that when pressed copies all the data onto the HDD using a "Bat" file, but I also need it to copy a shortcut to an html file from the folder onto the users desktop. copy c:\"The folder"\xxx.lnk c:\windows\desktop works fine for Win98, but copy c:\"the folder"\xxx.lnk c:\documents and settings\all users\desktop does not work for Xp?

I have tried the "docume~1" in case it is the 8 charecter rule, to no avail, what am I doing wrong please
