icon color on desktop messed up help please

My Icon text background is based on the background color I chose is there any way I can make it transparent to match my desktop picture?

here is my picture

Ya there's a way in XP to make icon background transparent. Actually it is there in XP. Open System Properties and go to advanced tab, there you would find performance section, now click on settings. Another dialog with caption "Performance option" would open. Select Visual effects tab and turn on the option having title "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" in custom option.
