I've connected the HDD light cable where it is supposed to be connected. (HDD light, socket 1 and 3, as in my motherboard manual)

The only other option is the Suspend Led socket (2 and 4), which i have no idea what is, and I haven't tried connecting it to it, because I'm afraid that something wrong will happend.

Any idea why the HDD led doesn't light up?

Have you tried turning the connector round the other way?

No, I haven't tried the other way, because I know it's the right way now.

I assume the HDD LED connector is a 2 pin, 2 wire cable, right?
If the power LED is also a 2 pin, 2 wire cable, then try temporarily connecting the HDD LED to the power LED pins instead. If the HDD LED then lights up when you power the system on, then at least you know the HDD LED is working.

What I ment about 'The right way' was that it heads upwards, isn't it always supposed to do that?
I could try the other way, just wait a minute..
