Lines in text on my printed documents

That's basically what happens on my papers that I print.. A line going from the top of the paper to the bottom that runs through my text. Can anyone help me with this?

Ive seen this problem before.

Tried cleaning the inside of your printer? and around the ink cartage?

Hmmm.. I took my printer off my dusty carpet and wiped it out and blew air into it and put it on my lap and now it prints fine.. Interesting technique this is sir..
