Recently bought a sapphire tech x1600 pro agp vid card I tried to install and monitor won't even display the BIOS booting up. I used to have a GeForce FX5200 PCI installed. I removed the old driver and hardware and now no display. When I revert back to my original setup to troubleshoot, everything works? Any ideas? Thanks guys.

It may be that you need to get into the bios and set the display to AGP. It is now set for PCI. After sett it to AGp shut down the puter and install the ATi card, plug in the monitor and see if the puter will boot.

Only AGP setting I foudn in BIOS was AGP Apeture with what I guess was the ram of the vid card. Apparently my BIOs supports up to 256 mb will a 512 still work?
