cant run system , continue getting warnings

i cant seem to get my computer to RUN eventvr to correct the problem that the microsoft page tells me to do. the initial problem is i can not defragment, go into performance and maintainence, disk clean, add or remove programs. can not run my ad-aware all the way through because of a similar program spybot search and destroy. how can i access all these areas so i can get my computer back up to normal speed.

Did any particular event trigger all these problems, or have they been building gradually? Have you followed the malware checks here?

What MS page are you talking about that is advising you to "RUN eventvr"? Do you mean eventvwr.msc? You could try to get there via Admin Tools.
