Mounting a Drive

I am wondering if it is possible to mount another partition or another hard drive to my c: drive so i can store more on c: while tricking windows into thinking i am putting it on c:. I have heard it refered to as mounting a drive and i am just wondering if you can do this how or if it is a tall tale.
