To Anyone that cares,
Soooo, I am sure this problem has come up before...but I will bring it up again. I have networked three computers together using a Wireless Netgear Hub, EZ. I set up the network, blah, blah, blah. One of the computers is hooked up directly to the hub while the two others are wirelessly set up. So then I go to veiw the folders, you know by going into, "My Network Places" and then "View WorkGroup Computers". However once I am there and click on the computer to veiw it says the computer is unaccesable. But here inlies the problem. If I open up a internet browser and MANUALLY type in the IP adress (the non Noob way) then I can EASILY veiw the other computers files and so on. The problem is that when I try to just open up "My Network Places" and look at the folders they dont show...
Well, now I know that you are going to say "Well noob, just manually type in the IP adress". However I want to add a network printer to all of the computers. But I can't becuase when I go to do this, u know "Add Printer" and so on, the printer doesnt show up when I browse for it...And believe my I have tried like everything that I can think of. Yes I have shared the printer on the computer that the printer is hooked up too...=)
The reason I mentioned those two problems is becuase if I fix on of them, I think I will fix the other. If I get the files to show up automatically I believe the printer will show up when I browse for it...Anyway, any thoughts would be great. If this is too confusing to understand...plz dont just ignore it ask me and I will try to explain it better. Thanks for the help :tazz:.
