1. Would I be risking it if I were to get the beta of Vista?
Example: It'll start crashing often, or some options don't work.

2. If after getting Vista and I dont like it because it caused trouble, could I change back to XP? I dont havce the Xp Home CD, just the back-up that comes with the computer. Also, would all my info be deleted?

3. I have Windows XP SP2 Home right now, and I just got a cracked XP Pro today, if I were to put Pro on this computer, would all my info from before be deleted?

4. Anyone know of a download where I can get the Vista skin only? I've searched around and found 1 or 2, but I read what the downloaders daid and they complained about it, such as it wouldnt un-instal correctly.

Info on my computer:
AMD Athlon XP 3000+
512 MB
160 GB
Nvidia GeForce MX 400 AGP 8X

Anything with cracked in the name is gonna be illegal, and the betas arent freely available so getting them from anyone but MS is also illegal.

You can sign up for the Vista program at Microsoft Connect and hope you get invited but my understanding at this point is they aren't taking any more beta testers.

They were also taking nominations here http://blogs.msdn.co.../08/546358.aspx
