Hi Everyone, Hope you can help.. My friend called me over this morning, she is having trouble with her computer.. She cannot log on MSN Messenger. Keep getting error stating that her default gateway is offline. Windows XP cannot fix the problem. I have no clue. I have checked her TCP/IP settings , her firewall settings and many more things. Could this be a virus. Her Norton anti virus just recently expired and that is when she started having the trouble. She cannot do and online banking, cannot sign into any MSN or hotmail. Also she cannot log on to any thing that requires secure connections. Please get back to me as soon as possible. Thanks for your help. You are all great... :tazz:

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
