Ok, so I have a movie that my friend burned onto a DVD for me..[A movie he made]..but my friend lives 2 hours away from me..and I'm wanting the file to be able to upload it onto the internet for other people to watch..so I'm wanting it to be converted to a video file..I've been looking for a program for awhile..the movie is 5:40 minutes long..so it's not long at all..but I can't find a program that will do it for free...any ideas?

Have you put the DVD in, cancelled autoplay, clicked start, clicked my computer, right clicked the drive, clicked explore to look for the file, click copy, copy it to the hard drive then upload it
