When i run update it goes to a validate and reinstall page which i try but to no avail
any ideas would be appreciated
XP home with SP2
AMD Turion
Mcafee virus and Firewall

I got as far as the server connection verification and it could not connect to the validation servers but was sucessful to the download centre

Run this and click yes to install the active x then yes to install windows update

XP Home is way down the menu, and it lists each version, (SP1, SP2 etc)
