I was planning on getting this memory for my system OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Dual Channel Platinum System Memory but wondered if this OCZ Gold Edition 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Dual Channel Kit System Memory would work better. I was told the first one would work with my set up, is the second choice pretty much the same thing but more speed?

Thanks for the help

If you going to overclock your system then get the second one(DDR500) but if you are not then get corsair value ram DDR400. It will save you a lot of money and its not worth buying the expensive (DDR400 from OCZ) one.
