When i receive various emails in hotmail, the text messages are saved as an attachment. i cannot read the message because i cannnot open the attachment with the right file.
usually, when you email, you receive the text part of the message on the same page. but sometimes, it cuts the text and says forwarded message attached. and the attachment says this file is attached: message5.txt or sometimes message3.txt.
is this clear enough or is it too vague?
what can i do?

this is either a hotmail issue or an issue with the sender of the email or both. instead of reading the messages via hotmail you could download them with outlook or outlook express.
